I witnessed both games and in 1975 we were the best team in the country. There were many reasons for that loss, but the main one was that we switched our schedule so we could play on national TV after our big game with TU. We got behind and our wishbone offense could not catch up, and we had no passing game. Our defense was the best we have ever had in our history and many players went on to the NFL. This was a different situation against Miami. We are not the best team in the country and we got dominated.

Jesus, Indiana fans are less insufferable than some of yall… and they had 100 years of never seeing a bowl game…

I was at the Arkansas game in '75. Our defense was exploited. Offense had nothing to do with losing that game.

Broyles took advantage of an over pursuing defense. Sound familiar?
