Should be removed immediately and viewed as enemies. Klein had nothing on the line today…and has been distracted for weeks. One could argue from a recruiting standpoint that it helps him for us to be down. We need total commitment from the coaches if we expect total commitment from the players.

He was distracted from Texas and our offense stunk. The same today. Coaches need skin in the game.

Agree, if you're promoting wiggins, let him call the game.

Klein is probably on a private jet headed for KSU tonight. No way he wasn't focused on his new job.

Hoping we find a big name outside the program

When? For what?
Elko has named Wiggins the new OC already.

Yeah Klein fell apart the most. He doesn't call plays to Reed's strengths.

I have to agree with Saban that coaching changes need to happen on same cadence as academic calendar.

This should be written into their contracts. With provisions allowing us to claw back pay if coaches have gone too far with other schools. Granted some on our team our making millions (more than most on this board) but they are still young men who need coaching. Klein failed the young men he was coaching. He failed Texas A&M who gave him the current opportunity in front of him. And he failed himself as a coach of young men…you coach for the boys or you coach for yourself…

F Klein. I hope we play them in the future and bury their asses.

That's a stretch.

Agreed... and to be pissed at the guys who take the promotion but try to stay is also ridiculous... it's human nature - already got the promotion... and every moment not spent on the coaching staff, support staff, recruiting (both current roster and potential recruits/transfers), etc will hurt down the road...

Sucks to lose a coach late in the season, but if you're coaches aren't being poached by other schools - you probably have other issues...

some of the best leadership advice - "what if we train them up and they leave?"... "yeah, what if you don't train them up and they stay!"

Take the promotion. I'm happy for you and happy that we have gotten you to that point. But you are now off the team. You are now an enemy of Texas A&M. You are leading a new team. Should be standard practice when coaches move on. Klein had zero obligations to anyone associated with Texas A&M today.
