S&C isn't throwing the ball either.
Make some easy throws, on time, in stride....and let the skill position players do their thing.

Instead they were being circus acrobats just to have a chance at a catch.

Stepping back a bit IMHO we made good strides last year. 2024 was +1 vs 2023 and 2025 was +3 over 2024. Some unknowable percent of that uptick is due to improved S&C. Yes we faded the last 2 games but again, no way to know how S&C factored in. 2024's fade was 5 games or thereabouts so improvement there. I'm as mad as anyone about the outcome of the last two games yet I remain optimistic about the future for a number of reasons.

Tommy Moffit is elite. Need to retain him

Oh how quickly we forget how soft we were 3-5 yrs ago… not to mention the number of non-contact and soft tissue injuries. We were exceptionally healthy this year, until some bad ankle luck. Did we lose a single person to an ACL, besides Jerome Myles before the season?

The big rushing yards by Miami were in the fourth quarter. Albert Regis went out with injury late third. Pretty obvious.

The team looks much stronger and less injury prone under Moffitt.

The Regis going down excuse would work if tu's rb didn't also have a career rushing game the game before and 2 years in a row against us.

They had about 4 or 5 big runs for 25+ yards or more each. Other than that they were not picking much up on the ground. We are susceptible to the explosive run but are solid the rest of the time against the run. This was not the reason we lost the game. It's also a decent trade-off since we almost totally shutdown their passing game which was far more dangerous.

Actually Fletcher had the big run for 56, then had add'l runs of 24, 17, 16, 13, 12, 10, 7. The rest (9 atts) were for 3 yds or less.

Fletcher was successful on half his attempts. They probably should have run him more.
