Yep, back in the 90's I spent lots of money at SBs; I was even their "customer of the month" with my picture on their board. Then, their CEO decided to go political and announced his support for Hillary. I have not purchased anything associated with SBs since that day, and will never do so ! Like you, I purchased a fine espresso machine and I can make drinks as good (if not better) than SBs all day long.

1) Klein was a good hire. Literally every college football analyst in the country would say so.

2) Bateman. Meh. But it's Elko's defense. It was in 2024 as well. Glad Hemphill is taking over. He already made a major impact in our pass defense his one season here.

3) He does have a dedicated ST coach. Now, whether you think he is any good or not is one thing, but he has one.

Elko has a minimum of 3 more years and probably 4. Unless we got 5-7 back to back seasons, he's getting "more than a couple" years, no matter how much this board screams.

Great 2nd year. great step in the right direction. Disappointing end to the season. Nothing more, nothing less at this time. Big offseason for him to propel us further and keep momentum in NIL, recruiting, etc., which we have now.

Reed has work to do. Reed had a poor close to the season and he may or may not be good enough to win a championship. TBD.

But he is 23rd in QBR, still has room for improvement, and, whether you want to claim schedule or not, led us to 11-2. You can win a lot of games with Marcel Reed as your QB.

Finding an upgrade to him is not likely.

Significantly more he does right, IMHO. to each their own.

Any coach at any program has a higher chance to be fired than win a national title, but there is more good than bad with Elko so far through two years.

Really? Bond was terrible. He was the worst SEC PK. However, Zirkel has a fatal flaw. Apparently, he has no idea the proper trajectory a kick needs to take to clear the line and defensive players trying to block the kick.

That said Bond easily makes the first kick and who knows how that changes the game.

Zirkel flaw he wasn't any good why he got the start in the Miami game is beyond belief, it really makes me question Elko.
