Who else notice the athletic department screwing fans over on the concessions at Kyle for the playoff game. Literally EVERYTHING was dollar plus more?! WTH? Really?? Cost extra just for an extra game? I hope they used it for more NIL!!

Our section ran out of straws in the second quarter. But luckily I was drinking beer.

I don't think it's "cheap ass Ags"….i think it's more of nickeling and diming us every single chance they get yet the product on the field never gets better. And now, little by little, Ags are getting tired of it. True, the stands are still full, but the more people I talk to, buy the tickets and just sell them on the open market. They may attend one game or so a year. And this number is growing year to year. It's not an insane amount of people or anything (right now), but if the amount of people I talk to, starting to not attend nearly as much, is growing then I'm sure there are plenty others in the same situations. But I guess where there is one person not going, there are 5 others waiting to dish out there money with no problems.

They have to pull Elko's bonus money from somewhere. He got paid $1 mil to coach in that game.

Nothing quite like gauging your alumni. They could offer higher and lower priced stuff and still make a fortune

I went to game at DKR this season and thought their concessions were noticeably cheaper. $16 beers is Jerryworld -level

$16 rum and coke, single… although she had a heavy pour so it was less painful

We only had 1 game to make all our money…

Hopefully this contract is not extended and the next one will consider the fans


That being said next year an attempt to to pick a game next year and boycott / minimize concession purchases is how we fix this

I told my wife that about half way thru the 2nd quarter I got hungry and my blood sugar was dropping, so I went and got a hotdog, drink, and a box of peanut M&M's- $36! She asked me if I even looked at the price...I told her it didn't matter because I was hungry and needed something sweet and wasn't like I could negotiate the price.

Aggies screwing Aggies. The newest tradition.

Chicken wraps went to $25?!

It's like being in an airport, once you've gone through security and are out on the concourse, they've got you. Prices go sky high.

Money will be used for some more lighting and an enhanced sound system at Kyle in hopes that it will keep fans interested in something.

We always always eat before we get there and bring in water. I don't mind paying for something good, but the concessions are not a good value.

I would definitely choose slightly higher concession prices at Kyle instead of having a game at a bowl site in either state with slightly cheaper concessions

The point in my original post was they changed the prices from the last home game to the playoff game?! I know concessions have been expensive but why raise prices on the last game when they're already getting extra revenue from the additional game?! It was just a sneaky greedy money grab.

I wouldn't have noticed the change had not the screen in the concessions kept glitching and showing the previous games price then switch to the "playoff" prices.

I almost mentioned it to the worker. But that's dumb. They have no control of it. It's just wrong to gouge fans like that from one game to the next game (same season) when they just sold 105,000 extra tickets to include parking etc.

I still paid my $110 for one popcorn, three sodas, two pretzels, and one beer. :/
