Tell me what they averaged against good teams. I'm more concerned with online than anything, but lack of running game puts everything else in jeopardy.

We need linebackers and defensive backs who run downhill and deliver hits.

Watching tu, Michigan, Miami, Alabama,Georgia etc makes our defense look, accurately, slow and passive

I've talked myself into getting a qb to compete with Marcel. But if they were to decide to not get a guy, the way around it is elite OLine and a big running back.

KJ will get significant snaps because of his speed. Owens must figure out a way to not trip or stumble every other snap, especially when nothing but grass is in front of him, because he is strictly a straight ahead runner.

KJ Edwards and the other would-be true freshman RB Baker look legit like they could be dual starters next year. Owens and Morrow…..I don't see it.

It's not a big need but it sure would be nice to have a big almost fullback RB for short yardage and blocking. A specialist player. Many teams use a QB for this. Nobody in our backfield is big enough.

Portal needs:

Urgent: multiple OL, multiple DL

High: TE or two

Medium: big RB, more speed at LB, S, CB

Low: WR

QB should be a top need too but you know how the Aggies love their loser players

Online is priority number 1. Dline priority number 2. Got to be able to run the ball when we need to and stop the run. Being able to run the ball takes pressure off of Reed (or whoever QB is) and reduces the chance for turnovers. It also keeps the defense off the field and more rested. Having some good WRs is good and will win you a lot of games but will not be enough to win it all if you can't run the ball when you need to (see us and Bama as perfect examples of this this year…I expect Bama to lose today because of this).

Portal needs - basically the whole team. We are screwed unless big cigars start writing a ton of big checks.

If you can upgrade any position you do it.
We're losing 3 RBs with lots of experience. I don't see how RB is not a portal need.

2026 roster should include
Owens RS-Jr
Morrow So
Riden So
Edwards Fr (brand new 4-star)
Baker Fr (brand new 4-star)

Owens gets it done.
Morrow looked outstanding
Rider looked good on ST
Edwards is supposed to be 'that guy'
Baker apparently has a nice ceiling

That's a lot of inexperience. Riden will be a RSFR. You need one bigger back with some experience.

Correct, bc we had Moss, Daniels, EJ and Owen's who all had experience. Now we're down to Owen's and Morrow who has limited experience. I love what Morrow can be, but you need an experienced back who brings size and physicality.

morrow had a couple great games. .. but overall production was just ok.. the last 3 real games he didn't produce.. when we need it the most

Owens had two left feet. Someone needs to step up.
