ESPN is streaming the Alabama radio and I'm listening. They have ultra-homers, and neither of them sounds to be 30. Not what I expected. Coach is only in his 2nd year, and we're in the playoffs. All is well is Tuscaloosa.

After a scoreless first quarter, No. 1 Indiana dominated No. 9 Alabama for the rest of the Rose Bowl to advance to the CFP Semifinal and face Oregon in a rematch in the Peach Bowl. As a result, Indiana improved to 14-0 (8-0 Big 10) and became the first playoff team with a first-round bye to win a quarterfinal game after the previous 6 teams went one and done. I noticed a few other trends:

1. Indiana snapped a 7-game bowl or playoff losing streak with their first bowl win since a 24-0 win over Baylor in the 1991 Cooper Bowl on 12/31/1991.

2. Alabama dropped to 11-4 and lost 2 of their last 3 games with blowout losses to Georgia in the SEC Championship Game and Indiana by a combined score of 66-10.

3. This is Alabama's most lopsided loss since a 42-6 road loss at Arkansas on 9/26/1998.
