I'm really tired of the word track that every team that loses a game instantly becomes a "fraud". I expect it on social media I guess but the need to hot take after every loss and declare a team a fraud or trash is too tempting. We spent 2 weeks in the doghouse after our loss to Miami being called a fraud and it turns out Miami is pretty good.

However, Indiana is great. They might be a team of destiny this season.

Hate to say it but ND should have been for Alabama

Just really stinks knowing if we hadn't laid an egg against the sips we would have played Bama in SEC Championship, likely beaten them, winning our first SEC Title and been #2 in the CFP.

How did Alabama make the SEC champ game? They were tied with Ole Miss and A&M via conference records but got blown out by a 5-7 ACC team. Can someone explain the logic behind them jumping Ole Miss and A&M?

Can't block or tackle. Otherwise, they are OK.

If 'Bama "sucks" because they lost to the #1 and undefeated Hoosiers, then what does that make us ? Bama got to the Quarter Finals, did we ?

Conference tie breakers have nothing to do with non conference game results (see also duke winning the ACC)

It's problematic only because you're mixing two unrelated criterion for determining playoff births (conference title games AND rankings) which causes some disparities when you look at playoff births and seeding. This is a similar line of reasoning as to why we had two G5 teams in the playoff as "auto bids" for being two of the 5 highest ranked conference champs. The whole system is a mess that needs cleaning up

That's the joke… read a little more sarcasm into my post and you'd maybe get it

All of what I said about bama, posters here and elsewhere have said about us. Maybe it's true, maybe not, maybe it's football and there's only one champion at the end of it all and just because we didn't win doesn't mean we suck. Bama sucks, tech sucks, Ohio state sucks, Georgia sucks, we suck, all sensationalist takes. There are about 124 other college football teams who would LOVE to suck as bad as us, or tech, or bama etc.

Can KD style of finesse football work at Bama or the SEC? Bama has had really no running game with KD. Even Sumlin saw he had to shift from finesse.

Bama was soft all year but their talent level was able to squeak out a few games that they should've lost. They were really more of an 8-4 team than a playoff team this year.
