Sorry, I expressed it poorly. I meant that Burrows saw that guy in front of him and figured he was about to get hit. I didn't mean he purposely lay down, I just meant that Miles didn't knock him down.

Burrow saw that 95 guy, his eyes got big as saucers and he crapped his pants. Burrows legs lost their life and he went down to hide the huge stain in his britches. Miles had the sack and the only thing that would have saved Burrows would be if he had a rocketship been attached to him so he could have been shot out of the stadium.

He had the opportunity to go to another team a year or two ago and chose to sign a new contract and stay in Cleveland.

Garrett has a great shot at #3. 35 more sacks needed. He'd get it in 3 more seasons at his usual sack rate.

Needs 73 for 2nd and 75 for 1st. Pretty much unreachable! He'd need 12.5 sacks per season for the next 6 seasons.

it's funny how sacks don't lead to winning

even though putting pressure on the QB is very important

in part because not all sacks are created equal

wonder how Myles compares to Von with regard to strip sacks -- those are the big ones

along with sacks on 3rd down

a 3-yard sack on 1st down in the NFL -- doesn't necessarily do much to stop a drive
