he had a very good freshman year for them...guess he was not happy there...for whatever reason...that is definitely someone you try to keep

Tu lost 4 running backs to the portal, their "fan boy recruiting experts" crystal balled Jaden Baugh of Florida and Isaac Brown of Louisville, two of the top rb's in the portal, to tu. Both of them announced they're returning to their schools.

They also lost 3 receivers including 2 starters to the portal in hopes of Cam Coleman… we'll see if that pays off for them as well

I can't imagine the amount of tampering that is ongoing for them to search for a RB right now.

It was the safety Taaffe. Westlake kid but they spun his story as a lowly walk on that had to claw and fight lol.

Just curious; Why are they losing so many backs to the portal?

Are they unhappy with the scheme or blocking or were they encouraged to go elsewhere because tu coaches were trying to upgrade?

They hired a new rb coach from Florida so many assumed Baugh would follow. Their insiders for weeks have been predicting Baugh and Brown to Austin, now none of those are happening.

We did see Sark abandon the run game throughout the year. Arch gets all the carries in the red zone. Tu probably thought they were going to upgrade and welcomes their guys out. They can still make a big splash but their main targets turned them down so far.

That is another big loss for the sips. When he was healthy he was at worst their second best receiver. Plus he had a lot of room to grow so there is no way to spin it as an upgrade with him leaving.

They are paper thin at RB and have whiffed on their top two targets so that position group will be worse next year.. They took a blow to their WR core with Livingstone leaving so they need two big time portal wide receivers. They have a retread with Mushmouth returning at DC after losing their former DC who was a stud.

It is starting to look like Sark may be talking to NFL teams with how he is mismanaging his team.

Same as I heard from a die hard fan, they told him they found better and he wouldn't play much. You don't push someone out that is that productive and still developing.

Horns flushed their top returning RB/WR's down the toilet because they were confident they could upgrade in the portal. Now that they struck out on their top two RB's Cam Coleman has the chance to do the funniest thing ever.

Kind of a low-blow at Sips for him to choose OU unless he got paid a ton. Revenge szn. And it's a little wild to me he's paid more than $100k a year, and Sip fans keep saying he got $800k and that they offered him that too. Doubt sips offered near that.

Love to see their 'imsiders' high on copium.

He averaged over 20 yards per catch as a redshirt freshman. Plenty of upside. Factor in there were several games that Arch sucked donkey balls and it gets even worse letting a talented WR with years left in college leave because they thought they could upgrade.

Are you implying he is privileged because of color? He was very good for any color. Those statistics are a reflection of the number of targets, not talent.
