I think there's general agreement that the Aggies need to add a high-quality WR for 2026 with KC leaving. If it's not Coleman, are there other possible options being rumored?

Wanted the Georgia Tech kid but that ship sailed. This is the negative in waiting on a big name.
we need to add a third for sure - Craver and Bethel-Roman are both excellent at least we are 2/3rd of the way there.

We have some really talented young receivers. I hope Myles is good to go. I would love to see us get a top receiver in the portal. But I also know that Elko knows what he has and needs better than me. And he sees these guys everyday. And that goes for every position. I don't think what Texas Tech is doing is sustainable for building a national champion. You can buy a few big guys a year but you have to build a championship.team. That team showed it is a long way from being a national contender. 5 mil for the Cincy QB is overpaying and I would never give Coleman the 4.1 mil that is rumored. I think we can get a guy for much less who will put up similar numbers.
DeAndre Moore from tu is in the portal still. He's not great, but has caught about 500 yds in each of the last 2 seasons & 11 total TD's. More than serviceable and a LOT cheaper price tag than Cam.
I'd like for us to take a look at Jelani Watkins from LSU. That kid can stretch the field. He runs a legit 10.2 in the 100.

Yep. I think he would have been everything that we (and UGA) wanted Noah Thomas to be.
This is your plan B if you don't get Coleman IMO. Miami fans hated losing Horton to the portal last year and now Gumps will lose it. He was their WR2 right behind Bernard in production.

He was hurt all of last year, he was hurt all the year before that.
A) He probably isn't ready to play college football and be a producer/good blocker as he hasn't played ball since he was a junior in HS. Even when he was Junior he only played in 5 games. Yes, 5
B) Kids will almost certainly get hurt again.
This kid was dealt a bad hand, it's not his fault but I can say with high confidence he is most likely not going to be a factor as a WR next year. Maybe not ever.
Honestly, give me Horton and thumpers we need at DT, RB and LB for what this sweepstakes is turning into. Sure Cam would be a great get, but I think you're much better off getting numbers given the war of attrition this sport is.
Also, while I want a breakout WR as much as anyone, I'm pretty sure one of the 3 on our roster have just as much the ability to breakout if Marcel can start hitting 65%+ of his passes.
