WE had an easy schedule

And??

1 out of 14 years we get an easy SEC schedule. Texas had been in the SEC for 2 seasons with a laughable schedule in both years and not a peep about it.

Lots and lots and lots of peeps about it on texags, all while ignoring Elko's baby soft schedule that didnt include UGA, Ole Miss, or Bama.

But he did manage a bunch of programs that fired their coaching staff, and a ranked team that was forced to use a 3rd string QB

Our 2025 schedule was ranked 18th in the country. It wasn't easy at all.

"Was ranked…"
Elko had one win against a team that finished in the top 25.

18th was the final strength of schedule ranking.

A pumper classic!

It was an extremely successful season. There's no need to pump anything.

Bud... zero trophies in the case does not an extremely successful season make...

Again- one win over a team that finished in the top 25.
Zero wins over any team that made the playoffs.
I'm not sure many Ags share your sentiments.

So only Indiana had a successful season?

Do you get trophies for "wins over teams that made the playoffs"?

Ohio State and Georgia won their leagues. Numerous others won one or more playoff bowl games. All have trophies.

The Ags walked away with an eleven win season with one real win of consequence, exposed on the back end of the season.

Maybe we just have different views on what "extremely successful" means.

I would think being the 8th best team out of over 130 division 1 teams plus making the playoffs is extremely successful

What trophy did Miami win? Do you think they had a successful season? Anything other than "no" means all "trophies" but one are irrelevant.

My point was at least several of the teams we beat had winning records, (unlike those teams on the list.) Record should be the only thing that matters. If we had played and beaten undefeated (to that point) teams all season, and then those teams went on to lose every remaining game only the teams we beat at the end of the season would be considered "good teams" but we could have played the number one team in the country multiple times which happened a few years back. When you win matters way to much in College Football. Keeping all things the same and playing the same schedule wins, against a 0-10, 1-9 team to end the season looks a lot different than a win against a 9-1, 10-0 team to end the season but it really shouldn't. Had we played SCar Samford and Sips at the beginning of the season starting at 2-1 ending with Utsa Utah and ND finishing 11-1 and had the same results elswhere we would have been livid that we weren't in the SEC championship but optimistic that we lost to Miami. Until we start seeing college football like the NFL where all that matters is wins and playoff success we will continue to chase our tails and have the tu inferiority complex.
