I don't think predicting a loss at Bama is based on facts. They have fallen behind A&M in both high school and especially portal recruiting rankings. It is obvious they dont have the NIL ability of A&M & t.u. or even Texas Tech for that matter.

Its one thing to predict a loss to t.u. or lsu. but to PREDICT we are losing to Bama would be based on nothing other than the fact that Bama USED to be really good.

Saban's Bama teams might as well have been 100 years ago. We are in a new age of College Football.

I think predicting a loss is Alabama based on how rare it has been to win in Tuscolosca since 2008. Alabama will be our 8th consecutive game on 10/24 before our lone bye week. While we will be coming off a cupcake home game against Citadel, Alabama will be coming off a tough road game at Tennessee. It will still be a very tough road game at Alabama. Alabama has lost just 7 home games in the last 18 years: Auburn in 2010, LSU in 2011, Texas A&M in 2012, Ole Miss in 2015, LSU in 2019, Texas in 2023, and Oklahoma in 2025. Kalen DeBoer is 13-1 in home games, including 8-1 in home games against Power 4 teams and 7-1 in SEC home games. His only home loss was a 23-21 loss to Oklahoma on 11/15/2025.

No one knows anything dude. Nobody had Penn State, LSU, and Clemson going 7-6. Nobody had Duke and Indiana as conference champions. No one knows what's going to happen. No point in insulting people over predictions 7 months out.

Elko knows what he is doing in the portal. He plucked guts like Howell, ratcliffe, boekircher, craver etc…that were not thought to be splash gets but turned out to be really good players for us, plus guys like ricks, Reed-Adams, Lee, kc etc…that were big gets and have produced as such


He's done really well in the portal and no reason to think he did t do well this past cycle

Just because lsu beats us doesn't mean he didn't do well in the portal Or develop players

Kiffin is also really good at coaching ball and using the portal and lsu is still a really tough place to play

No shame in losing there, it's one of our toughest games of the year

Home or away, you still have to be a better team. These two were the worst in the playoffs and I don't see any reason they project as even with, and certainly not better than, A&M. They may be greatly improved but for projection purposes, it's a just a wild ass assumption. I would believe SEC Mike backed into the 8-4 record before I would believe he did your analysis.

People joke that we're Texas 8&4. This is the laziest prediction ever. He's just trying to guess which 4 games are our most difficult.

A&M is going to have an 8-4 pre-season prediction from now into eternity.
