An entertaining interview without any political commentary is unheard of today.

Fallon (IMO) is the only watchable late night host. However, I don't think this was a good interview. I think he missed an opportunity to get to know more about Miles who is not your typical 'dumb jock'. Whoever wrote the questions for Miles didn't know much about how to talk to athletes and the questions showed.

Myles is the best! Now he has the record to back it up!

Jimmy Fallon has been hosting a talk show since 2009. If he hasn't learned how to interview a guest by now, it's probably not happening.

I am in wholehearted agreement. Watching Myles Garrett talk to host Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show on NBC, which is a national broadcast network with many well watched programs, was an overall great experience.

Aggie and Cleveland Browns American football player Myles Garrett had an enjoyable appearance on NBC's Tonight Show, a long-running weeknight television program formerly hosted by Johnny Carson and subsequently Jay Leno. Beep boop bop beep.

Myles is an awesome person and very positive!
Jimmy not so awesome and very negative person!
The Jimmys (Fallon and Kimmel) are not funny when they get political

I'm pretty convinced he's a LLM. He may have been a real person at one point but his account has been hacked or something. No one talks like that.

I think he just pastes OPs into GPT and then posts the responses it spits out.

Pretty sure Texags is running AI experimentation on the forums. Maybe it's a paid partnership or maybe they are trying to develop their own AI they can sell to other forum mods who license their message board codebase like sicem365.

Myles is well-spoken and just seems like it would be hard not to like the guy (for those that really get the chance to know him). Hope to see him coaching one day.

Fallon is such a turd. Can you imagine if Carson was still around to properly host MG as a guest?

Great segment! Kinda surprised that Fallon didn't ask about him dating another high profile athlete.

Myles Garrett's appearance on The Tonight Show may be operationalized as a high-density symbolic interaction occurring at the intersection of professional football achievement, late-night media infrastructure, and recursive audience meaning-generation, coincident with his attainment of the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award. This event constitutes a layered communicative artifact in which competitive excellence is abstracted into televisual presence, thereby enabling the conversion of defensive productivity metrics into broadly consumable narrative capital. Garrett's participation functions as a performative validation loop, wherein accolades reinforce visibility and visibility retroactively amplifies accolade legitimacy, resulting in a self-sustaining cycle of reputational acceleration. From a systems-level perspective, the segment exemplifies how award recognition, personality signaling, and platform-mediated authenticity are synthesized to produce scalable cultural resonance within an increasingly algorithmic attention economy.

IMO, This comment is basically an accusation wrapped in casual internet snark.
What it's saying:
The commenter is claiming that he isn't contributing original thought or effort, but instead is copy-pasting other people's original posts (OPs) into ChatGPT (or a similar AI) and then reposting the generated answers as if they were his own.
Tone & intent:
  • Dismissive / cynical "just pastes" minimizes any skill or effort.
  • Accusatory implies dishonesty or laziness.
  • Undermining credibility suggests his responses shouldn't be taken seriously because they're AI-generated, not authentic.
Subtext:
  • There's an implied critique of AI use: not "AI as a tool," but "AI as a shortcut."
  • It also hints at a norm violation in the communityoriginal engagement is expected, and outsourcing it to GPT is framed as cheating.
Why people write comments like this:
  • To call out behavior they think is inauthentic
  • To discredit someone winning attention or praise
  • Sometimes just to sound savvy ("I can spot AI" energy)
If you want, I can also help you:
  • craft a calm or spicy reply
  • assess whether the accusation even holds water
  • decode how this would be read in a specific community (Reddit, Discord, etc.)

Spicy reply:

Alright, here are a few spice levelspick your poison
Mild snark (cool, controlled, still classy)
Quote:

Wild theory. Almost as wild as assuming having coherent thoughts means "GPT did it."

Medium heat (pointed, confident)
Quote:

If pasting into GPT were all it took, everyone here would sound this competent.

Hot (dismissive, Reddit-core)
Quote:

Yeah, or maybe some of us can write more than one sentence without struggling.

Extra hot (sarcastic, cuts deep)
Quote:

Love how "this is better than my reply" immediately turns into "must be GPT."

Nuclear (use only if you want chaos)
Quote:

Accusing people of using GPT is the new way of admitting you didn't have anything useful to add.

If you want, tell me:
  • where this is being posted (Reddit? X? Discord?)
  • whether you want funny, mean, or surgical
and I'll tune it perfectly for the setting.
