Yeah his "sources" were either completely unconnected or made up.

This is one of the reasons I subscribe to Premium here. Staff aren't just going to throw unverified crap out there.

Stroud's biggest problem was Caley's offense which is an indictment of Ryans decision making. That said, Stroud has no excuse for some of his gaffes in the playoffs.

Our staff is complete and he's not going to take an "analyst" type position. Would be a good addition to the building and staff if it could happen though.

I don't follow stats but I would be amazed if they were better in an offense that uses one of the best receivers in the league to run slants and 10 yard out rout all year.

Stroud had an unbelievable rookie season and failed to develop the next two seasons. There are other contributing circumstances, namely a bad o-line and lack of a running game, but I'd have a hard time getting excited about his QB coach.

that was not the point i made...most guys dont come back and write what he said and say i will have egg on my face if this wrong . which i am sure will be a learning experience for him...he heard a rumor or made it up and wanted to be 1st...that was a mistake

And to your point, even TexAgs has been wrong before. it happens.

There are no longer rules limiting how many on field coaches you can have. They should create a position for him. Call is Associate Head Coach and Passing Game Coordinator/Offense.

Stroud looked terrible and it wasn't coaching. Coaching didn't tell him to lob it up in the air, coaching didn't make him fumble.

There have been plenty of NFL coaches who have made their way down to the college ranks.
