Welp, unless it was a magically clean break with no other damage, there goes our no. 1 linebacker for half the season. But what's new I guess.

Let me help you out there, brother.

Something it took me almost 35 years to learn.

Life will be much more pleasant once you accept the fact that this football program will never win anything of consequence.

It's amazing the emotional release you get. And the freedom to enjoy your weekends.

Not sure why you're telling me. If it took you 35 years, then I learned this fact long before you did. That's why I ended my post with "what's new." This, among many other things that keep us from winning, happens every year.

Not every team

What relevant team doesn't?

The team that just won the national championship has essentially eliminated all full contact practices. I think their spring game this year will have no tackling, which ironically, is due to a lot of injuries this spring.

Not really true. They still tackle at practice. They did not "essentially eliminate" all full contact practice. They may have reduced it some, but certainly did not eliminate it. It took all of a few seconds to find a report talking about 1 on 1 tackling drills during practice 7, and how defender XX really drives through the tackle well, etc.

And like you said, Indiana has just as many, if not more injuries this spring than we did.

yea I'm pretty sure what they did do was just a lot more film/ non contact study, that's where his confusion is.

Feel bad for Sanford as he was prime for a breakout season.

Hope we have some depth on the chart. In previous years, we could have just gone back to the portal.
