I appreciate the snark, but that wasn't the point.

But , SCAR started allowing big plays - after Marcel's 16 yd scramble on 4th and 12 in the 3rd.

- 32 yd. td pass

Next two drives: 70 yards, 7 plays 2:40, then 80 yards, 2 plays, 0:38s

So the defense just said, "here are some big plays we will allow you to make now."

These kind of comments always kill me. We adjusted what we were doing on offense because we could no longer be patient and the offense made some plays. Trying to diminish that makes it sound like you have an axe to grind and nothing Marcel does will ever be good enough.

What are we thinking should be his nickname since he's going to have one obviously. I like "The Hitman".

If Hart can surpass Reed then so be it!
May the best man get the job!

Early/Mid season Reed was better than late season Reed.

I agree that teams finally figured out how to bring him down to earth by taking away his explosive runs, making him throw more.

Pass-first QBs with mobility are more efficient and consistent.
Run-first QBs can have bigger stats, but aren't as effective in 3rd down and long situations, especially during crunch time.
A few more timely pass completions and Miami could/should have walked off of Kyle Field with a loss!
(but, but, it was windy..... spare me)

Hart graduated early to get on campus. That will pay dividends whenever he finally gets on the field.
