Tu plays teams he has ranked 2,4, 5, 6, 7 and 9. Unless everyone ties at 6-3 or 5-4 there is no math that works for this to actually happen. One of those 9-16 teams will finish ahead of a few of the top 8. Simply bait.

I feel like SEC Mike has become very click baity. Not really sure what legit informed opinions he has on much.

As far as the rankings, top 8 looks about right though I'd put us at 4 and move OU down to 5. Also, I think LSU is probs better than UT at this point, even with a new coach. I think Bama lost a lot of talent.

Believe or not, I actually this Marcel edges out Mateer. Also, I just think he has better supporting offensive weapons.

I think some are overestimating the impact of one LB. It's not the same as losing a star QB or RB or even DE. By the end of the season every team will be missing multiple starters.

I think the top 3 will be A&M, Texas, and OU in whichever order.

Also, crazy seeing Bama at 8 in a pre-season ranking. Cant remember the last time anyone expected them to be middle of the league.
