Yep. Like many Ags, this is one that I have circled to attend.

But, 2027 is my 25th anniversary with my wife. We're going to Germany in September 2027, first half of the month. To keep this Aggie football related, I am half-way expecting the SEC to schedule that game as the second game of the season or something.

Sec will probably expand again thus altering the schedule and no UGA at Kyle

Interesting, I thought they would do it like they've always done with back to back home and away games but looks like they are rotating the half of the league you play every year

Home/Away half 1 of the league
Home/Away half 2 of the league
Away/Home half 1 of the league
Away/Home half 2 of the league

So we'll play every team in the league every 2 years.

I actually think that's a good idea

First half of September 2027 is already scheduled for Texas State, Arizona State, and New Mexico so you're good

Man .... Now you've got your priorities all screwed up.

First off ... There is a reason to get married in spring. Mistake numero uno. Teach your kids better.

Secondly, you should've planned better ahead of time ... and known after 25years what happens in the fall.

Lastly ... 2027 is a long ways away. Not too late to push up your trip to April. Oktoberfest is overrated anyhow. Springtime in Germany is fantastic. I think Mel Brooks (soon to be centenarian) even composed a song about it!!!
And when Mel's right, he's right, and Mel ... He's always right.

Lots of assumptions.
First, we got married in July. Our anniversary trip does not have to be in July, in fact the wife doesn't want to go at that time. Spring would be great, but wife the wife being a tax accountant, that isn't really an option as she tends to continue that work for some time after April 15.

I am well aware of what happens in the fall, but I am also aware that there are other things to do in the fall, believe it or not.

2027 will be a reversal of home and away games for our 3 annual opponents: LSU, Missouri, and Texas, but we will have 6 new rotating opponents with home games against Georgia, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt and road games against Auburn, Florida, and Mississippi State. The home and away schedule of our 2026 rotating opponents will be reversed in 2028, and the home and away schedule of our 2027 rotating opponents will be reversed in 2029.

https://12thman.com/news/2025/9/23/sec-announces-football-opponents-for-2026-29

We will play 4 SEC home games in even years and 5 SEC home games in odd years because we have home games against Power 4 nonconference opponents in even years and road games against Power 4 nonconference opponents in odd years. Playing 4 SEC home games resulted in playing road games at LSU and Missouri in back-to-back years to evenly split the 6 rotating SEC opponents, but I am glad we are not playing a road game at Texas in back-to-back years. This means splitting home and away games with LSU and Texas every year instead of playing road games in both Baton Rouge and Austin every odd year.

They announced this about a year ago. We know who and where we are playing from 2026-2029, just not the dates.

All of this assumes nothing changes between now and then, which is not a guaranteed assumption.

There weren't really any better options with 14 teams, 2 divisions, and keeping cross division rivalries. Our schedule format has changed 6 times since we've been in the league. Thats the actual problem

Should have gone to a 9 game conference schedule way before tu and The Land Thieves were admitted

As a season ticket holder 3 crap OOC games is one too many
