You do what you have to do to put 6 kids through school. When the state flagships see you made a 5 on the CALC B/C test and have a 35 ACT, and tell you to apply again next year if you can pass a college algebra class, meanwhile Tech is offering scholarships to be a math major, the message is hard to miss. Quit chasing the 10 when there's a 7 who wants you, works out, actually reads the notes you write, and knows how to cook.

Unless his kid flunked 3rd grade, he is full of ***** A 35 gets you into MIT and Harvard.
