Was sitting on aisle in section 503. Witnessed classy biatch who flipped the section off when cops told them to leave. Apparently, her and her equally offensive better half were part of a group of 4 "so-called" aggies who were wanting to stand the entire game and block people's view of the game. They claimed they were just being good ags and were trying to enjoy the game to the cop. Cop told them to get tickets in student section next time or sit down.They finally left. They also had El Guappo belligerent ag with them who thought he was a yell leader. He was standing up and being overdemonstrative with yells. I can only hope they were drunk because they were classless fans. Please stay home next time.

Maybe they were offensive but suck it up, you stand up at the games.

I have season tickets in 503. I was wondering what happened. They would rather leave than just sit down once in a while? Wow. The yell leader guy was obviously drunk and I was afraid he was actually going to fight the cop when he walked over. He had that crazy look in his eye. In fact, it almost looked like he wanted to fight everyone around him that was not following his yells. Freaking idiots who can't control themselves around alcohol.

I think they were on about row 28 or so. My crew and I were on 25 and were some of the ones having words with them. Pretend yell leader guy was sitting directly behind me and talking about taking the cops down when they came for him.

BTW johnny reb, unless you are in the student section, you do not stand up for the ENTIRE game. We all stand up when things get exciting no doubt. But he was trying to force everybody to relive their days before they became dead elephants...

This was not a case of being a redass fan; this was strictly a case of a jackass being beligerent to Aggie guests here to support our team, one had never seen an American football game.

To make it worse, the man ejected from the game is the President of the Houston Howdy Club. To me he is a disgrace to all Aggies. I hope the Howdy club sticks to watching the games from a bar, that is clearly their element.

If you paid for a seat, you can stand or sit, according to 12th Man Reps.

I once had some very old Ag hit me with his cane from behind me for standing up whenever the Ags made a great play. Told him if he hit me with his cane again I was tossing it over the edge of the deck.

Then, I'd have a lawsuit for taking out someone's eye down below.

I wasn't there, and I guess being obnoxious IS a bad thing, but man I hated sitting in the Zone because NO one stands and yells.

It's not the old folks section...that's on the press-box side.

I would've sat down when asked, but that's why Kyle is dead....people not wanting to stand and yell.

My wife and I sit in seats 11-12, although I brought my Husker buddy with me this time. Hope I didn't block you or anyone with you. My buddy and I were standing a lot, but who didn't in the second half?

I'm a 67 year-old Ag. I simply can NOT understand why some Ags want to sit during a game! If I want to sit, I would go to a Baylor or tu game!

I am finding it offensive that so many Aggies find it necessary to swear at the game in front of women and children. I am not talking about a little expletive said under your breath when the Ags turn the ball over, etc. I am talking about cursing in a loud voice for all to hear. It is equally disappointing that so few Ags will say anything to the offenders. I asked the guys who were cursing to watch their language around the kids especially and received an incredulous look and no support from other Ags around me. I don't think paying for a ticket, no matter how expensive, gives you the right to say those kinds of things in front of kids. It is incredibly rude and shouldn't be tolerated by anyone. Please step up Ags and help stop this offensive behavior.

My parents have season tickets on the third deck on the alumni side (forgot the Section) but the guy behind them dropped about 5 f-bombs in one sentence when we went down 17-0... My dad turned around and told him to "Clean it up around my wife! Have some class and be a real Ag!" The guy got embarassed and shut up the rest of the game. Pretty funny.

We sit 3rd deck, west side, and we sit until the game gets exciting - great play. We stand and cheer when the defense has a stop on a series and is coming off the field for the punt. We don't stand for the whole game anymore, though, and there is an older gentleman who sits behind us who wouldn't be physically capable of standing the whole game and I'm not going to stand in front of him and block his view.

But we had 2nd deck tickets for the Baylor game (50 yard line, arm chair seats) and no one yelled or cheered a single time during the game - not once. And it wasn't all old blue hairs sitting around us. It was dead in that area.

But I will not give you anything for someone who wants to stand up during the game and yell. Seriously, stay home and watch it on tv if you want to sit and have everyone around you be quiet (unless of course you physically cannot stand for that long or at all, which still is not all that many people out of 85,000)

Yep, that was me. Truth be told, I considered just sitting down until the so-called nice and courteous people from New Zealand starting yelling profanities at us. As my best effort to be courteous, I did squat as low as I could so they could see over me during the plays. Not once did I yell anything profane or tacky at the people behind me, which is much better than I can say for them.

For whoever said that we were all drunk - I do not get trashed before the game because I AM THERE TO WORK. I stand and yell for the team the entire game because they need the support. Take a look at the game on TV sometime and you will notice our players looking up from time to time - they are looking at us. If there is any year our players need us - this is the one.

Rest assured that I will stand in the student section from now on - and congratulations to those 2% Aggie Fans who could go to any game and cheer for any team, but who choose to come to an A&M game and water down our tradition of standing for our Fightin' Texas Aggies.

Technically, the students are the only ones who are "supposed" to stand the whole game, ready to play. We don't have any eligibility left.

Yes, that was me as well. I do apologize for my hand gesture as we left the game. However, I will not apologize for standing and yelling for our team.

Perhaps we will be happier in the Student section, but based on other threads, it sounds like things are not much better there.

Let's hope our Aggies can BTHO our opponents in our upcoming games....we will be yelling for them wherever we are.
