Bought this gun last year off of an Ag who's dad had just passed away and needed to pay for funeral expenses. Looking to move it to fund another build with Cow Doc.

This is an APR Altitude model and starts out at $4500+tax (link below).

It has a Leupold MARK 5HD 5-25X56 M5C3 FFP TREMOR 3 scope I mounted on it and shoots like a dream. Retails at $2499+tax. Would love to justify keeping it, but prefer to have a build specific to my aesthetic liking and want a shorter barrel, lighter scope, etc. Have quite almost 3 full boxes of Hornady ammo I will include also. It will also come with a pelican case he sold with the gun that he cut the foam out for this rifle. Has a magpul bipod and triad tactical stock pack. Can send pictures if interested.

All in, this package retails over $8000. Would like to get $5700 OBO for all of it. Will split up the gun and scope

Not to sound obtuse, but that is a lot of coin to spend on a gun and I'd ask for its credit report and medical history if I was buying it.

It is. And you can read that in the OP and know whether you have any intention of spending that kind of money. And that's my point.

If Im house shopping and I can't afford $1,000,000 house, then I don't contact the realtor of a $1,000,000 listing.

You'd be shocked at how many people who don't have anything better to do will just call up realtors and ask to see random houses and then "think about it". When I tell them I charge for showings they will often start incredulously screaming or huffing and puffing that I'm the crazy one.

lol that's a good idea! My wife is a realtor and requires proof of funds on those types of listings to prevent people from wasting her time

Just some friendly honest feedback OP, I've bought and sold numerous custom rifles. It was 10 - 12 years ago, and on snipershide, so things may have changed, or may be different on texags, but I can tell you when selling a high end custom rifle, details are your friend. Your listing lacks actual details. I believe your assumption to which model it is, is likely correct, but most guys want solid details before dropping that kind of coin on a custom rifle they did not configure themselves. Getting the build sheet from APR would greatly increase your chances of selling.
