Holy hell. Missed the second half. I'll watch later but we got the 2-1 lead in 88th minute and gave up tying goal in added time. Good lord.

VAR was a huge miss in this game. Hope it is never implemented. Delayed the game far to often.

I believe Son assisted one of those goals - he chipped it up and it was headed in.

VAR sucked today, and it has sucked in MLS, but I don't want to go back to having no remedy whatsoever for a wrong call. I think VAR execution just needs to improve, and I think it will.

It's on this one. Lamela was the guy he assisted. It stood out to me because it was a great play by Son, who dribbled from the top of the box to the endline, then chipped the ball up and in front of the goal where it was an easy header for anyone who could get there.

Most bizarre half I've watched in a while...VAR was disgraceful. So, so, bad.

Loved how we came out in the 2nd and took it to Rochdale. Seeing Llorente net the hat trick was nice!

Agreed. Absolutely awful. I'm not sure what ruins a sport more, house music at Kyle Field or VAR at Wembley.

Huge difference from what I can tell between what VAR does and what replay does in other sports. The NFL for example doesn't review penalties.

Been very busy with work so not had time to get online much. However, I have carved out some time today to watch the Spurs vs Juve match. Looking forward to this one. It's definitely not a given that we will go through to the next round.


Oh, can I also say that although I'm not going to post over there, I have greatly enjoyed the meltdown taking place for the Gooners. One guy on BBC 606 was practically in tears.....that was very entertaining and I hope that they are suffering greatly. Then again, I wonder how many are proper fans (see link below)?
