The cause may be good, but the uniforms were awful.
That was the strangest uniform color I have ever seen any A&M team wear. Please return to the Maroon and White.

The team's involvement with the fight against pediatric cancer started in 2014 when they supported the daughter of a friend of Karlie Mueller. The team flew the girl and her family here from South Dakota for the UT game. Unfortunately the girl lost her fight the following summer.
I thought the uniforms were fine for one game and it looks like people noticed them, which was the intent.

On a game note, on Ritchie's goal Addie took the corner kick really quick before the defense could get set. Jimena did a similar thing on a free kick in the second half near midfield.

Oh, I know. He needs to try harder though.

I was glad to see Abby Grace Cooper get some good minutes as well. I would bring her in a first substitute at forward instead of Smith. Cooper was playing in the midfield for some reason.

I liked the uniforms...

AGC's work rate is less than Smith's, and neither are near Ally. AGC does have a nice touch on the ball, but like most of the team doesn't know how to move or use space with or without the ball...

With the disclaimer that I really don't know enough to back it up,,,

I'd leave Watt at Striker and put Asdis as an attacking mid.

The team shows signs of real quality. It would be nice to see this quality in possession more consistently. The lack of scoring from the run of play is becoming a little concerning. The team is scoring at a good rate but can't overly rely of set piece goals. Scoring from the run of play is tough because it requires a high level of execution. The last I remember consistent, high level scoring from the run of play were the 2011, 2013 and 2014 teams.

The current team has the talent to pull it off. With their set piece skills already in place, enhanced run of play performance would really make this team dangerous.
