We've been playing better this second game but just gave up a very silly own goal.

To follow up on Ally's Spring play with the U-23 squad:

Ally got another start as her U-23 team defeated host Portland Thorns 1-0.
She came in as a sub in the 32' as the U-23 side beat the Chicago Red Stars 2-1 in stoppage time.

I couldn't find any other stats or notes on Ally, but here's a nice shot of the starters vs. Portland.

Really liked what I saw from Katie Smith in the second game. Also in the second game Hill was much involved in the attack.

We play Baylor tomorrow at 8pm

Keep in mind that Baylor fans will be at the game tonight, so probably not a good game to bring children to as Baylor fans are as despicable as they come.

Playing three 30-minute periods tonight

Watt scores the first goal of the match, our keeper's kick bounced over Baylor's keeper's head and Watt tapped it in.

Two different Aggies just rocked shots off the crossbar & side bar in a span of about 5 seconds but neither went in.

Baylor evens it up with a beautiful long shot that would have been difficult to stop even if Ausmus timed it right.

1-1 at the end of the first period. It's clear that speed of play was an emphasis in the first period. It mostly resulted in chaotic play that I think helped Baylor more than us.

Pretty uneventful second period. We only got 1 shot and it wasn't even on frame.

Hill left the game late with a leg injury, unsure how serious it was. Didn't appear to be a dirty play though.
