I'm of the opinion that Omar has be surpassed by numerous other CBs and I'm hoping that he doesn't see the field as long as Brooks, Ream, Miazga, CCV, EPB, Walker Zimmerman, and Geoff Cameron are healthy.PatAg said:

We got youth players coming up as well. I feel like 3-4 of them should push their way in over the next few years.
I refuse to believe that is the best corner kick we can take at a national team level. Thats worse than you see in 16-18 year old club soccer
Miazga is light years ahead of Omar...the other two are on par but have higher upside. Yeah. Looks like we still are gonna play down to CONCACAF opposition and then lose. Berhalter has still shown me nothing that makes me think he is the right man for the job.
Until we get more players overseas and away from mls quality competition, this is what you can expect. I predict a number of the players we saw tonight won't be around when real competition starts.

Shame too. He had looked strong in previous performances. Not sure is Jamaica's athleticism was an issue for him or what. Think he still has potential but definitely not his night.

Fair enough. Guess it's frustration with our depth. I wish we had more depth than what we have now. Not sure how we fix that in the short term.

Does anyone think that GB's complex concepts are well-suited for better talent and trying to implement them with our squads (particularly B teams) seems mismatched? Some players with our main starters seem to have adopted them well, but numerous others seem to struggle and look lost out there.

Agreed. Need more depth in every position. Sad state of affairs. Let's see how Sunday goes.
Ahh gotcha,. Well this ties into the reasons we didnt make the world cup. We basically had a "missing generation" of player depth. Luckily, it appears our age 22 and younger players are rectifying that. That was a terrible performance across the board
I mean they hired the vice president to be president....took 8 months to hire Berhalter...when they knew 8 months ago that's who they were gonna hire so they didn't have to pay him for 8 months....
