In the "are you kidding me file", new rules were implemented for ALL age groups starting this fall for both rec and club teams.

State HS wil, NOT be implementing the new rules/clarifications this fall...because, you know its too confusing...or something....

Meh. HS has a rule set. Its different from College, which is different from rec/club (each of which vas variations of rules of competition). The pro rules might as well be different they are called so differently.

HS is really much closer to College, and with the changes for this year they will be even closer.

High and college rules are dumb.

So my daughter in her club team can receive a ball in the box on a goal kick but not in a UIL game?

Clock counting down? Time outs? Lol.

HS did have two big changes of its own.

The clock will now stop for any substitution by the team leading in the last 5 minutes of the game. And instead of an IDFK restart for an injury we go back to the old dropped ball.
