The Aggie soccer team faces off against the Alabama Crimson Tide tonight at 6:30 at Ellis Field.

Alabama is 7-4-1 on the season and 2-2 in conference play. A&M and Alabama share a common non-conference opponent in BYU. A&M lost at BYU 0-2 and Alabama had a 0-1 home loss. Alabama's conference wins have both come in overtime with wins over Tennessee (2-1, 2OT) and Mississippi State (3-2, OT). Conference losses have come at Arkansas (0-1) and against South Carolina (2-5).

Alabama has outscored opponents 24-15. Scoring has been led by Casey Wertz and Riley Mattingly who each have 4 goals on the season. Wertz has the team high in assists with 5.

Well it looks like Hill is going to make a go of it after all. Remains to be seen how long she'll be able to play for. Katie Smith is apparently our next defender.

Agreed. There have been a couple blatant fouls on Aggie breaks ignored. I tried to let the ref know, but I'm not as loud as I used to be

With this Ref the only way she is going to start calling some of this junk is if A&M stops being a punching bag and plays more aggressive. I've seen it a million times. Start giving them the same thing and she will get her head out of her butt

Hutton's technique in the air is really hard to watch. Goalkeeping 101 is to keep your hands together to form a W to prevent balls from going through them. I couldn't figure it out until now what looked wrong with her technique.
