Traveling to Germany and going to get tickets on 12/7 to either Bayern munchen or Borussia Dortmund

What is the best way to get tickets and are there particular sections to look for or stay away from at both? Any thoughts on tickets and stuff to make sure to fully experience either venue?

If you're going to Bayern, don't drive to the stadium because traffic is a nightmare. Took us an hour to get into the ground from the city center. I'd recommend going to some pubs in the city, then taking the underground to the stadium. Should take you about 20 minutes or so.

For Bayern, I've used stub hub twice and it worked great. If possible, electronic delivery is best. First time I did it, I had to have tickets shipped to hotel concierge.

And I'll echo what the poster above said: take the underground to the stadium.

Drink in town, stop by one of the kiosks after you get off the train and get a warm glass of spiced wine.

Bayern has a weird team card system where the only way you can pay for a drink in the stadium is with that card. I don't know how to get it but I do know that is the only payment that they accept.
