Tweet at the Firestick people then, please.
At least with ESPN+, there is such a breadth of sports content drawing in eyes that sports fans may stumble upon some stuff. I realize Peacock has other content, but sports fans may not be as likely to peruse it looking for something to fill their weekends (or find something to play in the background when working.)deadbq03 said:Add to that, Fox dropped the Bundesliga rights this year. They were quite good at putting games on FS1 and FS2. ESPN is putting nearly everything on ESPN+. Sad state of affairs for us. (To be fair, I like the ESPN broadcasts better so far, but as Riley mentioned above, no one is going to accidentally find these games and fall in love anymore.)DeangeloVickers said:
Now that I've slept on this I really hate it.
They are Longhorn Networking the Premier League... Meaning less eyes are going to watch and it's not gonna grow the sport in the US
This is correct. You need a cable sub to watch simulcast streams on the NBC Sports app. The big broadcasters are doing the exact same thing they did to ruin cable. They refuse to ensure the subscription base stays strong by offering a product that is actually worth the price.TXAggie2011 said:
Meh. My understanding is you cannot watch NBC Sports Network broadcasts on Peacock. So, you need two subscriptions to keep up. That isn't a replacement, or providing another option for those who do not want to maintain cable. It is an effort to split the product in half so that folks will outlay additional monies to watch the Premier League.
I understand they're a major business always looking to grow revenues, but this, so far, has been a pretty anti-consumer roll out.

My biggest issue is that the search/channel function is garbage. You have to search for a team to find their games and there's no way to just easily go to "Premier League".
They should absolutely shift the games to USA over Peacock. Could be an opportunity to get USA viewed the same as TNT/TBS is for the NBAwangus12 said:ChipFTAC01 said:

They said games will be on the USA network or NBC ( in terms of the ones that were on NBCSN
