I still think covid parties were the way to go, let all the athletes get infected then we can move on with the season uninterrupted

Isn't the quarantine 2 weeks, so doesn't this mean no game on Oct . 4th?

Isn't the new protocol 2 consecutive negative tests? Could be getting my leagues mixed up.

It could. I wonder if teams will be willing to push a game a day or two to get outside of the 14 day quarantine. Would mean playing some games during the week, but I think that's what's going to have to happen to get all the games in.

well I didn't think that the AD is probable testing more and getting results back quicker than anyone in the general public.

And if this was contract trace issue, then if the team test negative in a week or so maybe get them back on schedule.

With these Sunday games I guess they could play a Friday makeup game. That's what the normal schedule would be.

I don't think any team is going to play more than 5 games with these tight restrictions.

Buddy of mine said on WTAW G said it was AU player tested positive that got game postponed. Anyone hear that?

To clarify Zach Taylor said that a Tiger player tested positive on wtaw 5pm sports update and referenced a comment by coach G but didn't catch that part. I'm pretty sure I heard that right, so not sure which team has the positive test.

An Aggie player tested positive.

The Aggie Soccer Radio Hour is going as smoothly as 2020 tonight. But we've got that info at least. He said they're waiting for a second test from that player, not sure what a negative would mean though.

G said the contact tracing identified 7 more players as going into "covid jail".

So if a player or staff on the men's Aggie Football team tested positive this week, would Saturday's game be postponed?

Depends, the football team could take an 8-player hit and still be ok. But they couldn't take, say, a 4-playet hit to the OL, so depends on how many of each position are available.
