Didn't like the opening goal, but dynamo looked superior to Portland most of that half. Wish the Canadian would have finished there

Tells you the real story about the Super League in a single post. A club that would otherwise be in League 1 in England is worth $100mm more than a big-but-underperforming Premier League side simply because its spot in the top flight of American soccer is owned instead of earned.Furlock Bones said:
The valuations of MLS teams are incredible. I am a Dynamo fan. But, $400mm for a team not many people care about is amazing.
The Saudis are trying to take over Newcastle for 300mm.
I'd say that it's more of a function of the single-entity aspect of MLS. All the owners of the teams are really owners of MLS itself. It doesn't matter too much if the team is awful as long as the league does well.ThunderCougarFalconBird said:Tells you the real story about the Super League in a single post. It depends on if it is a national broadcast. The way I understand it, if the game is selected as a national broadcast (Uni-Mas, along with ESPN, etc.) there is no local broadcast. For the rest of the games, like this Wednesday vs. Portland, they are on KTBU (Channel 55) in Houston.oh no said:
So last night the match was not on Quest or KUBE. Is Spanish channel the only way to watch Houston Dynamo on TV in Houston these days?
