Here is a Championship update for all, now that thet have finished their regular season:

So Norwich and Watford have confirmed their spots in next year's EPL season, bouncing right back after being relegated last season

Playoff for the final EPL spot will be (all matches will be on ESPN+):

Monday 17th May
Bournemouth v. Brentford (Noon Central)
Barnsley v. Swansea (2:15pm Central)

Saturday 22nd May
Brentford v. Bournemouth (6:30am Central)
Swansea v. Barnsley (11:30am Central)

Winners of the two two-legged semifinals will play in the Playoff Final on Saturday, May 29.

At the bottom end of the Championship Wycombe Wanderers, Rotherham United and Sheffield Wednesday were all relegated, with Derby County staying in the Championship by one point over the Wanderers. Wednesday were deducted 6 points for Financial Fair Play violations, and that six points proved costly to them and saved Derby. Derby also faces FFP sanctions, but would likely be imposed next season if they were points deductions.

Hoping for Brentford or Barnsley get promoted. Want some new blood in the league

Don't know much about their histories or their fans/hooligans, I'm rooting for brentford. A London club to replace London club Fulham. ...and brentford's new stadium is niice.

A historically 3rd division club who hasn't been top flight since wwii and was in league 2 just 12 years ago! Yes please. Especially with a new stadium and presumably a rejuvenated fan base

Barnsley are featuring USMNT player Daryl Dike, who has been on an absolute tear for the club.

Brentford lost in the playoff final last season to Fulham, and play a very attractive style of football.

So will be fun to root for both of them in the playoff.

Barnsley was in the EPL some time in the mid-late 90s.

ETA: 1997-1998 season. One season in the EPL.

Looking at the Lower divisions:

League One:

Hull City and Peterborough United finished first and second and received automatic promotion to the Championship.

Playoff for the third promotion spot will be:
Oxford United (6) v. Blackpool (3)
Lincoln City (5) v. Sunderland (4)

With two winners meeting at Wembley on Sunday, May 30 to determine the final promotion place.

Rochdale, Northampton Town, Swindon Town and Bristol Rovers were all relegated to League Two.

League Two:

Cheltenham Town, Cambridge United and Bolton Wanderers (man had they fallen off a cliff) all gained promotion to League One, finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively.

Playoff for the fourth promotion spot will be:

Newport County (6) v. Forest Green Rovers (5)
Tranmere Rovers (7) v. Morecambe (4)

With two winners meeting at Wembley Stadium on Monday, May 31 to determine the final promotion place.

Southend United and Grimsby Town were relegated to non-league football.

I hope it's Lincoln City coming up to the Championship. They were in the 5th division not that long ago and famously played Arsenal in that FA cup tie.

Yes. It is great. You get to really understand the mismanagement of the club and how important football is in the North East of England.

I really want Brentford up in the Prem. Was hoping they could pull it off last year.

Ivan Toney has been on an absolute tear this year totaling 31 goals this season.

Another team to look out for is Bournemouth. Cameron Carter-Vickers is an american central defender who has been playing really well for them this season.

Will be rooting for Forest Green Rovers to pull themselves up to League One as well. Great story about their promotion out of the non-league football up to League Two a few years back.

I want Brentford to fail so that Arsenal can get Toney off them.

I really want to see him stay but I doubt he will after the season he has had.

This Bournemoth high school sized stadium they make a ton of noise and they're right on the pitch.
