Yea it was a free transfer. But his pay is over 400k/week. Not cheap!
Pretty crazy. Alaba literally reaps all the benefits by leaving Bayern in this deal. I don't think he's worth that amount, but I guess we'll find out over the next five seasons, especially if Ramos and/or Varane aren't kept.

Der Titan to replace Rummenigge as CEO in 2022. Rummenigge had a fantastic run as CEO, taking over in 2002. The fanbase has grown exponentially during that time and the club is world renowned for its Fan Club management and engagement.

Kahn should do well in that role.

The transfer window opens up on June 9th and will run for 12 weeks. This doesnt include the movement of players who's contracts are up at the end of the season.

Not a surprise Barnsley didn't pick it up as $20M is a lot of money for a Championship club. Maybe one of the EPL teams will pay the transfer fee and send Dike out on loan (Eredivisie?) and see how he does for a full season.

One of my friends texted me about it, and he is usually right. Zero clue where he got it from because I googled and went on twitter and couldn't find any solid proof either, but he swears by it. Guess we'll see?

Very early rumor stage, but supposedly Arsenal are looking at Tyler Adams.

I'm biased as a Leipzig fan, but considering Leipzig are in Champions League and have Jesse Marsch as new head coach, I firmly believe he ought to stay put and continue to develop... but Premier League money is hard to turn down, obviously.

Supposedly Arsenal's interest is as a replacement for RB Hector Bellerin. If true, Adams would be competing with Calum Chambers to be starter. Would love to see him at Arsenal but I hope the RB rumors are inaccurate because I think he has much more upside as a DM. From an Arsenal perspective, if they liked him as a DM and he is able to stay healthy, he should be able to compete for starts in the CM/DM rotation early.

Knowing Woodward they will settle somewhere between those two figures, like 88mill plus addons

The fact that he can transition well between the two positions made him invaluable this year for Leipzig. There were many games where's he'd start in one position and finish in the other.

Having players like that can be invaluable for any team. However, as a young player he needs to be focusing his attention on a single position and honing his skills there or it will stunt his development.

A few things I noted over the weekend.
1) Donnarumma (Italy #1 GK) is on the move from AC Milan to PSG
2) Chelsea put in a bid for Haaland. Offering a swap deal of cash plus Tammy Abraham. I've heard rumors that if BvB reject bid they will place a bid over $150M for the Norwegian.

Yeah. Interesting move for him. I think it's the right time for us based on his salary.

Also interesting given how many games he missed this last season to injury and that he was already noticeably slower (the last few seasons).
