Definitely lacking a finishing touch - I think we pass on good chances waiting for perfect ones too often but there's also this:

Yep. We had a million chances, but just can't bury it.

Winning ugly is still winning! Now just need to get points out of Canada

I believe Vin Diesel said it best. It don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile.

Aside from trying to take the one opportunity with the outside of his right instead of lettting it come to his left for a better chance at a goal, Ferreira had an excellent in game in all phases. (he has a tendency to do that at club level too)

I mean, I'll argue it wasn't even an "ugly win." We dominated them. If the scoreline just happened to be 2-0 or 3-0, I think some viewpoints would be more sunny.

Yea, for me it was more just the lack of cohesiveness for large portions of the game. So more viewing in through the lens of trying to progress the overall quality of the team building up to the World Cup

Watching Canada on the road. They look good.

There was some of that, but I think the majority of the game we were pretty well linked between our lines. If I had to ballpark it, maybe ten minutes of the first half and another 15 in the second. Adams and McKennie were excellent. Our back four were seldom out of position and when they were it was because our wings turned it over in transition. I don't think CP played well and Aaronson wasn't an improvement. Weah had some good flashes, but our wide attackers were definitely the weak link tonight.

Canada can actually play. The MLS has helped them tremendously

I guess I'll clarify: the finishing was ugly and we played a lot of that game in our final third of the field. MMA were excellent and our back 4 played well too. Dest and Robinson were great. Just felt like it should've been a 3-0, 4-0 score line. Just like if a basketball team shot 20% from the field and won, we'd probably call it an ugly win.

I will say I'm glad we're getting our misses out of the way now so that we can get hot against Canada
