I hope that's the case. I think he's on bail for a date set in August so it'll be interested to see if he travels to the USA. I just don't see how they'd get a conviction for a crime that was supposedly committed in another country and that she waited to say something about until she got back to the UK. Unless she has recordings on her phone, I don't see how they'd have enough evidence for a conviction.

Obviously if a crime was committed, I hope justice is served.

Idk same for Nelson, Torriera etc. I'd rather we'd brought more of the youth. Even if they didn't play, the practice with the first team would be great for them. This is definitely the smallest squad they've ever taken internationally.

I can somewhat get Nelson. Put him in the shop window and/or see if his loan improved him enough to stick around.

I prefer Zinchenko over Martinez actually. Martinez has very little minutes at LB, he's been more of a CB, and Zinchenko is also versatile and more of a true LB, in my opinion.

I would prefer to send Nuno on loan instead of moving him. I'm not convinced Tierney is a long term option because he just seems to be always injured. A future of Zinchenko and Nuno might make more sense eventually.

Zinchenko is actually a natural CM (plays in a Xhaka role for Ukraine) which is what makes him a more intriguing options at LB for us because he should be a very capable inverted LB which would allow us to play a more offensive pairing at the 8/10 spots in the MF (pick 2 of MO / ESR / Paqueta (or Tielemans) / Vieira). Which would also move us away from the "just throw a cross into the box" offense that KT does at times.

If Zinchenko worked out, I think it is highly likely that KT is sold next summer unless he is able to adapt to playing as an inverted LB.

Agree on Nuno, however I agree for different reasons. I see Nuno as an attacking LB and I'm not sure he has the football smarts to play as an inverted LB. Assuming it works playing 2 inverted FB, I see the loan of Nuno as a means of raising his value for a profit possibly next summer.

Also worth noting that Zinchenko had 6 assists in 1500 min (all comps) last season. KT, Nuno, Tomi & Cedric had 6 assists in a combined 6000 min.

I can understand if the kid wants to leave for a better opportunity but does he really think he is gonna get more playing time at Chelsea? If you want playing time and to stay in London go sign with Brentford, Fulham or Watford. Feel like either A) he has poor advisors or B) this was all about money.

Disappointed by Hutchinson news, but to be honest I don't see a path forward for him at either club. He'll be the next Hudson-Odoi at Chelsea; talented player that doesn't get much playing time.

At Arsenal, there's a lot of talent ahead of him that is very very young.

I've heard that he's getting paid more at Chelsea so I guess that makes more sense for him.

I would be much more upset if this were Patino or Azeez or someone that is about to break into the team.

Agree that he likes positional flexibility (ST that can play W, FB that can play CB/DM, etc...) but if he truly wanted offensive flexibility we would be looking for a target ST that would provide an aerial threat when we are having trouble breaking through a defense. Plus having a touch line attacking FB requires us to play a LCM that is more defensive and can cover if/when the FB get trapped up field. Playing inverted FBs allows us to get better offensive players up the field. It also may allow us to use Xhaka as a #6 in the event Partey can't play because his deficiencies would be far less exposed with inverted FBs on his left & right.

I know he's been vocal about wanting to move, but if we end up stuck with Torreira, its probably not the worst thing. He was never really a bad player for us that I recall.

Zinchenko seems like a great signing if we can make it work
