A tale of two halves.

Haaland is good at football goals.

Geez, just not fair for the rest of EPL that ManCity was able to sign Haaland.

Haaland is unfreaking believable.

Haaland = cheat mode.

I mean, it is basically against a Championship league team.

That only gave up 2 goals in a loss to Tottenham.

Did he karate kick anyone in the neck yet though?

He is good, but all goals were pretty much served up on a platter for him.

Going to go out on a limb and call this game for the good guys.

You still have to convert which has been a huge issue for us the last couple years.

For sure. His biggest contributing factor so far is knowing where to be to have the easiest goals.

His height clearly is a huge advantage for his headers. That is something we needed.

City is going to win the Champions League as long as Haaland stays healthy. He's already tallied 12 goals in 8 matches so far (6 EPL, 1 ECL and 1 FA Community Shield) this season.

Nice touch by Foden on his goal. So much talent up front.

City are likely the best team. Yet tactically they play the worst knockout tournament style. When they play a talented team that is willing to sit back and absorb pressure and then counter with precision they will get upset. Real Madrid has been so successful in my opinion because they have been a counter-attack team.

Not to mention that City plays in the EPL. No other league is close to being as deep which leads to an extra grind that is likely to wear them out. Bayern/Real Madrid would be my favorites to win it.

I agree to a point. Having a true finisher is something we have been missing in past CL games vs the top talent. Eeking out 1 or 2 goal lead wins is not going to be reliable enough with our style. Either our back has to get much better, or we have to make more out of all the opportunities that our talent has produced at the goal but not cashed in on. Haaland so far seems like the answer.

That's why having Haaland healthy will allow City to beat those types of teams. He's physical enough to score off set pieces and fast enough to get behind the lines. They no longer will have to rely on dribbling the ball into goal against bunkered teams.
