If all we are gonna do at this point is hit long crosses into the box, then having Pefok on the squad is a must so someone can actually head them in.
We're not even really doing that.wangus12 said:

If these were the only data points, you;d have to agree.deadbq03 said:
I think I'm gonna join Oregon in just accepting that we're not moving out of group. Not an outcome I want… I'd rather have ggg prove me wrong. But for my sanity, it's the outcome I'm preparing to see.
If that's what it takes to get rid of Berhalter, I think I'd have to choke it down. With the talent the US is developing now, we need a manager who can play to their strengths.Mathguy64 said:
This team, playing this way, is headed to 0-2-1 and coming home to a new manager.

If that's what happens then we just wasted 3 years. On top of wasting the year plus after Arena got axed.
You can't get back that time on the player clock.
News flash: US Soccer (the organization) is a shiite show. The incompetence really is incredible.Mathguy64 said:carl spacklers hat said:If that's what it takes to get rid of Berhalter, I think I'd have to choke it down. Gregg Berhalter said his players were lacking in confidence against Saudi Arabia due to looming roster decisions.#USMNT fans chime in: What is your confidence level in the squad? ⤵️https://t.co/fc9I06YrGC pic.twitter.com/QfUOHECffd

Didnt everyone who played today basically have a spot? Who were edge cases - Scally, Tillman, maybe Yedlin?Quote:

Even given the injury issues, he does often just play different players for no apparent reasonMathguy64 said:
The best NTs play the same system year after year from U17 on up. Everyone is drilled in the system. And the NT manager plays the best players as much as possible so they get familiar with each other.
The second part isnt possible when ggg rotates his squad over and over because he wants to. Its one thing when you have injuries. But that should be plug and play the injured spot. He cant settle on a squad of 11. Its infuriating.
Play your best 11 every match. The best 11 in the same place, subject to injuries.

I think he thinks he's making a joke.

Mine was not set to record on YoutubeTV, even though I have USMNT always set.Milwaukees Best Light said:
Same issue with my recording. I think they coded it differently and the dvr didn't pick up on whatever they called it. Just a guess. Mine has had no problems finding the games on fs1 or espn. Other oddity is that mine records the us games on the spanish stations too. This time, nada. I also avoided any news or media that would possibly spill the beans.
May have been my tv, but the wide view the players looked blurry and I couldn't tell who was who sometimtes.fig96 said:
Was the broadcast this afternoon better quality or also filmed with a potato?
