Every time we run out a lineup that has the extra attacker in it, we just look so much better. (not just games against poor opponents). I get that the MMA lineup has a lot of strengths, but it leaves us a little anemic in the final 3rd. Granted they are still young and can continue develop, but I think until that happens we need to be playing a more attacking minded player in place of one of them.
Whether thats a lineup like against Mexico where we had McKennie and Musah with Reyna in front, or Adams as a 6 and one of Musah/McKennie paired with Reyna (or someone in that mindset).

I don't know what to think about Vasquez. I like that he is a big guy that is always in the middle and the ball seems to find him. I don't like that he doesn't seem to do much else. I don't see him making the cutting runs or anything other than just kinda waiting in the middle. As I said, I don't know what to think at this point. We could certainly use a big guy that can put away crosses, but McKinney playing his great through balls need someone on the other end of them. Doesn't matter, got Balogun, I guess.

Tbh watching this B team it's clear only a handful are actually talented enough to add depth. I like Busio, Miazga, Mihailovic, Jesus, and the you RB from last night. The young CB shows promise too. The rest are clearly not cut out for it. Sands could be a 4th option CDM.

Lots of takeaways from the game last night. I think I've seen enough from Soñora to know that he isn't great. Not impressed by Cowells performance last night either. I think Zendejas takes too many touches and that Miazga won't ever be able to cut it in our 26 man squad.

The positive is that when we play with an additional attacker we are so much more dynamic going forward. I think we almost need to run out Jesus as a false 9 with Vazquez being the true 9. I think we would generate a lot more chances that way.
