I sat next to her parents when UIW played UTSA earlier this year. I'm no expert at evaluating talent but she seemed pretty solid (despite the loss). And her parents were super friendly...albeit with the "our kid is in goal" nervousness about them.

Instead of that 0-1 loss, what if we get an egregious keeper mistake by the other team's goalie on our only shot on goal and that shot we assumed was going in for our opponents gets blown by the wind and hits the cross bar and goes out instead. Whoop, we win 1-0!

I used to. Not anymore. I'm not that good anymore to get travelled like I used to. I do work in a couple of conferences that have cali schools and texas schools in them, among other conferences.

I have no idea what "the point" is supposed to mean, especially since Mookie was saying from the losing team's perspective there's no difference between 0-1 or 0-7. I read "the point" to be focusing on the winning team's perspective.

I learned something today. The Cambridge Dictionary gives this definition to "fox in a box":

When does G's contract run out? I think someone said 2026 but I can't remember if it was after this coming season (Jan. 2026) or after the next season (Dec. 2026). Don't really wanna search this entire thread so much appreciation in advance to whoever has the answer.
