So single game tickets are open but to get Miami tix you have to buy a 5 game pack and it looks like they are adding on about $200 per seat more for the Miami game.

And they release the single game tickets today for it. Starting at around $230 per ticket after fees.

Ridiculous. Glad I saw Messi in the Centenario in his prime. Don't need to shell out to watch him spank MLS talent just so I can say I saw him in person.

Given Messi's record of playing on the road in the MLS, there is a good chance you would dump $230 and not see him.

This is why I'm going to just wait and see if desperate sellers drop their prices in the week of. We will be downtown anyways for the College Classic baseball games that A&M is playing in.

Dynamo set to purchase USMNT prospect Jack McGlynn from Philly. He is 21 and Philly are including a sell on clause. Very offensively talented, but a bit defensively limited. We were one of the best defensive teams last year, even while dragging Herrera's slow ass all over the field. Replacing him with McGlynn seems like something that could really improve the team.

We gonna suck this year without HH and Coco?

Jack McGlynn is a great addition. Has a sensational left foot. Is young though so I am not sure how long he is going to stay around if he continues to get better

Tough night for the Dynamo. Clearly the team needs some time to gel but I thought they looked faster and more physical. Need to cut down the mistakes.

I was there as well. We literally pissed away the game with stupidity. Ponce looked out of shape.

Overall there was a lot of energy in the team but they definitely need time to get on the same page. Lots of passes missed where guys thought they were doing something else.

It's funny how 20 years later, MLS still hasn't evolved from this practice. 20 years ago it was Beckham visiting your stadium that caused your local team to mark tickets up 10x. Now it's Messi. Wonder who it will be 20 years from now.

For all its evolution, MLS really hasn't changed much in 20 years in regards to how it sees itself and its place in the sporting landscape. It's fine to be a league that leverages its star players but if you're still doing this 20 years on from Beckham, then you have made little to no progress in attracting/creating/retaining star players.
