This Thursday, the Aggie soccer team will take a short roadtrip through the piney woods to visit Stephen F Austin. The Aggies are 5-0 against SFA, but this will be the first time this matchup is played in Nacogdoches.

SFA is 1-2-2 overall. They finally broke through with their first win on Sunday with a 1-0 victory at UTEP. Ties have come against Sam Houston (1-1) and at Arkansas State (2-2). Losses were at Tulsa (2-3) and Texas State (1-5). This is actually just SFA's 2nd home game of the season and it's a big one.

Additionally, StatBroadcast shows the game on their Aggie page:

It shows the time as 7:30 but it should start updating right before the game starts. The lineup usually shows up fairly early. It also shows volleyball at 6:00 but same as above - will start updating shortly beforehand, starting with starting lineup.

Looks like SFA is keeping their whole team in their defensive third. Crooks and Yakel are able to bring the ball up past midfield with no challenge. Missing a lot of passes in the offensive half.

David Ellis and Thomas Dick were on screen a lot. If Mike Elko needs a field goal kicker the soccer team has some candidates as a lot of their kicks went over the crossbar.

Tough game to watch, but we have to find ways to score when teams park the bus like that. So many shots over the bar instead of making the goalie make a play. On the bright side, I don't see any remaining teams holding everyone in the back like that.

I agree that some subs should've gotten some more minutes. Great to see Emma H getting minutes again tonight. Sounds like it was really humid and it's tough to play heavy minutes in that weather. 7 subs totaling 146 minutes tonight.

Tcu losses to northwestern tonight 0-1 (6 subs for 167 minutes).

Georgia losses to Wyoming 0-1 tonight (6 subs for 144 minutes)

Vanderbilt beat Georgetown tonight 1-0 (5 subs for 144 minutes).

LSU losses 2-3 to Utah valley tonight (9 subs for 220 minutes).

He's stuck in 1993 and so is our program, sadly. I have watched almost every game for quite some time and I can tell you that over the last 7+ years I couldn't even define what his style of play is anymore. I asked chatgpt to define it for me and the response made me laugh.
