The Yanks return to the pitch in Columbus, OH tonight as they hope to rebound from a disappointing performance against SK. This will be the 4th meeting between the US and Japan with Japan holding an advantage in the series 2 wins to 1. The Samurai Blue enter the match 17th in FIFA's rankings after a scoreless draw against Mexico in Oakland.

This also marks the USMNT return to Columbus, where it has not played since 2022.

If Mitoma and Minamino didn't start, its a lesser lineup. Those are probably their 2 best players
