I would make a prediction on whether he will man up and admit he is wrong, but he would probably do the opposite just to spite me.

It would be more shocking if Simplebay actually knew how to use the search function.

guitarsoup starts crap with me all the time about all this "man up" crap. when he's never said anything wrong in his 50,000 spurs gloating posts, and even if he did he'd never man up about it.

even though i've proven him wrong many times over on this board.

in the history of this board, there has been no bigger thread-hijacker or homer in every thread than GS. just reading the crap mavs fans has to deal with from this guy in 2006-2007 was hilarious. and yet now he gets onto ME about posting when my team is doing well? he has a short memory. his bool sheet has trailed off recently because the spurs have.

I man up all the time when I am wrong. Like a couple weeks ago when I cited an old part of the CBA that was changed in the new CBA, but I was unaware about the change. In the old CBA, a player was not allowed to have a player option two years in a row. In the new one, they are able to. I posted wrong info on that in reference to Kobe's contract and then admitted it when I was shown the error.

I did admit I was wrong on Kobe's contract. I even referenced it here on this thread.

This did get me thinking so I did a search. Here's a good one I started back in 2003... several years before simpleton even joined. Ah the good ole days when Kobe's lasting court memory was crying after the Spurs kicked them to the curb. Then Buss goes and signs Malone and GP for next to nothing. Seriously, does that crap happen for any other team? Here's hoping Artest gets just what Malone got.

If you're a hall of famer at the end of your contract, and the Lakers have just reeled off 3 straight with a young, superstar core, wouldn't you jump on that train for a ring? Be honest.

We all know that egos got in the way, but at the time I'd venture to say any NBA star without a ring at the end of their career would do the same thing.

As for the "any other team" part, Ewing, Duncan, and several others come to mind. Hell, If Jefferson is half as good as the resident Spurs fans suggest, they should forever remain silent about Pau Gasol.

It's been too long since I've seen a Lakers home playoff game. The Rib frowns when I suggest dropping a couple of grand for nosebleed seats at Staples though.
