He just cemented his legacy in my mind. Even if the guy never wins a trophy, he's one of the top-5 gamers I've ever watched at the PG position, and I've watched a helluva lot of basketball.

I have never seen a guy play with an eye shut like that. It seems like that should hinder you somewhat at a PG.

The incredible part was that he completely carried the Suns in the 4th quarter while his eye was swollen shut. Its easy to come back and try, but his play improved when he did come back. Pretty amazing performance by a tough SOB last night.

I was as mad as anyone when he left. But to be fair, he wasn't anywhere near this level when he was in Dallas. You also have to consider that Dirk/Mavs and Nash have been better since parting ways.
