LBJ was considered evil by many even last season. He's one of the best players in the league and it comes with the territory. People who hated him before still hate him but now he has people in Cleveland that hate him and butt hurt people that love to complain.

How does Lebron = Yankees. People, he's making less money not more. The guy is more interested in winning.

Lebron =/ Arod

He's definitely not the Yankees because he hasn't won ****.

Arod in 2002 recognized he couldn't lead a team and demanded a trade to the Yankees or Red Sox. LeBron essentially did the same thing - "I'm not a good enough leader to carry a team. I need to take a back seat with one of the few guys in the entire league that it's even possible for me to take a back seat with" (Kobe, Wade, maybe Duncan/Garnett)

OHHHHH really, so basically he is saying "You know what f*** it I'm not better than Kobe, I'll just ride D-Wade's d*** all day and live in South Beach while I'm at it... oh well f*** Cleveland."

I have always like Lebron until "The Decision". This is one of the most narcissistic, least self aware things I've ever seen. That ESPN, Bing, The University of Phoenix et al. gave Lebron fellatio for an hour is embarrassing for all parties. Lebron giving Cleveland the middle finger on national TV was unnecessary.

I'm not a Cleveland or Miami fan, so I don't have a preference. I just liked the way Lebron played the game. But I can't cheer for such an openly narcissistic *******. I think this could have been handled much better to avoid the oncoming PR backlash.

As long as he admits in all future interviews that he's not in the discussion as far as NBA greats goes, I'm on board with this.

He basically just admitted that he can't get it done by himself.

How is the Decision different than what Wade and Bosh did yesterday. They made their decision and got interviewed on ESPN. Same thing happening now and all the money going to charity.

It doesn't matter. It's about perception, and The Decision will be viewed by most as an entirely new level of "what is wrong with pro sports" and will be stuck to him FOREVER - remembered by not only Cle fans but all NBA fans. Some of you are apparently as naive as Lebron.

I don't think we're naive, we're just not bitter and finding a reason to be pissed off when one doesn't exist.

I'm certainly not pissed or bitter. I'm actually curious to see how this turns out (on the court and off). However, I can at least acknowledge that this was a ham-handed way to handle it because sports fans aren't the most level-headed group. Right or wrong, it will be seen as a new level of attention hoaring and will stick to him.
