Amare is a very skilled player and even moreso now that he has an 18 foot jumper to go with his finishing skills. But he isn't a leader. He's got some maturity issues, is a pouter and doesn't put forth effort on defense and rebounding. Hell the dude already knows his team sucks ass, which is why he was trying to recruit Carmelo and Tony Longoria to NY next year.
I think the knicks will be slightly improved, but enough to stay out of the NBA draft lottery, not sure about that.
