Not sure how I feel about this.

Not sure how I feel either. Hopefully there's a built-in eject button if things aren't working out.

Upside: 20-25 minutes off the bench, 10-15ppg, plays off the ball and knocks down open perimeter shots, generally plays pass-first (he's a great passer when he wants to be)

Downside: in and out of the lineup with injuries, never finds a true role and consistently oversteps his offensive bounds

All in all, if he's healthy and willing to play in our system, I'm ok with giving it a shot. But I do feel uneasy.

Stats last year are not promising.

In the Knicks uptempo offense last year, he played 26mpg and:

Averaged about 9-4-4
Shot 24% from threes
Shot 39% from the field

Some people are just predestined to be a drama queen and team cancer... it's in their personality. As a Rocket fan, I'll say that you shouldn't feel good about this. Don't see how he'd be good for the Bull's young team. Bad fit in my opinion.

Maybe he just needed some more time to heal from the microfracture surgery on his knee. And maybe he is willing to take a small 1-year deal to prove that he is healthy and still able to play. I guess we will see.

I just remembered that signing TMac means automatic first round exit.

Right when I saw this thread title, I thought, are the Bulls not wanting to make it to the second round?

These "maybes" could have applied to any single one of his seasons with the Rockets. He is always "injured", and his attitude is always the same.

The guy is one of the most colossal wastes of basketball talent, ever.

As a Rocket fan, I loved T-Mac. He was bad ass. Then he got hurt. I still don't get all the hate.
