Watched a lot of college ball this weekend and foul trouble is a recurring theme. I realize the NBA thinks its best to have stars on the court the most, but the regular season would be more interesting if stars had less personal fouls like in college and the refs actually called them. You have to play smarter, would require more team game etc., I think it might improve the overall quality of the games in an ironic way.

One on one basketball is also boring.

The ratio of minutes played to fouls is the same.

40 minutes : 5 fouls = 8:1

48 minutes : 6 fouls = 8:1
