To note the quirkiness of the Hollinger system, after beating the OKC Thunder, the Grizzlies dropped from 10th to 11th. They were jumped by Portland who went from 13th to 10th after LOSING to Dallas.

Portland only lost by 3, so with the 3.5 adjustment for a road game it's like they won the game. Plus they get a SOS boost. Memphis only won by 5, at home.

I like the Hollinger rankings, but I was somewhat surprised to see the Denver Nuggets have moved up to the #2 spot recently. I thought they had been playing better sans Carmello, but I guess I hadn't been watching them enough to see that they had moved up that high.

They will be a tough match for the OKC Thunder and possibly the #1 seed.

These Nuggets are reminding me of the 2007 Warriors, who I believe had the best record and best point differential the last quarter of the season after trading for Stephen Jackson and getting Baron back from injury.

I would expect the Mavs to fold in 6 games if they happen to meet in round 1.

For lack of better thread to put this in, I like the ESPN/Marvel Comics picture for the Nuggets.
